Pyan Dan E(Under Construction)

(Advanced Form #2) Pictures not ready

Pyan Dan E dan to me is the most difficult for of the Pyan Dan's to do correctly. Pay a lot of attention to the first seven moves. The hands need to be placed correctly. The rest of the moves are easier but still need to concentrate on your moves. The pattern is still the same as the other forms but with some added moves.

** Remember same hand forward same leg forward, Also turn the same way as your hand. (Right hand out turn to the right, Left hand out turn to the left). **

  1. Start at a junbe (ready) stanceChang Moo Kwon Kibone il
  2. Pivot and turn 90 degrees to the left into a mountain climber stance (left leg forward), low block (fist should be just above and outside the knee)
  3. Step forward with the right leg into a mountain climber stance and punch to the Solar Plexus with the right fist.
  4. Turn to your right 180 degrees. move your right hand and right leg to opposite direction into a low block. right leg forward and right fist blocking just above the knee.
  5. Lean back on your left leg putting 85 - 90% of your weight on your back leg, using your right hand circl up to a high block and finish the cicle down to a low block again leave the hand just above and outside the knee cap. the right foot should be very close to the left foot and the heel elevated so that only the toes and the ball of the right foot are touching the ground. ("Cat stance")
  6. Step forward with the left leg and punch with the left fist to the Solar Plexus
  7. Pivot on your right leg and turn to your left 90 degrees (going down the middle) Pick up your left leg to turn and low block with your left fist into a low block.
  8. Lean back (like in step #5 going to a Cat Stance) as you are leaning back block down by the middle of the chest with the right hand and with the left hand (using the Tiger Jaw grab) grab the oppents next up by the jaw while finishing the cat stance.
  9. Step forward with your right leg and high block
  10. Step forward with your left leg and high block
  11. Step forward with your right hand and high block. (Ki Hap!)
  12. Back leg turn around. Move your left leg behind your right leg far enough to move your body 270 degrees (3/4) turn to your left. (You will be facing to your right 90 degrees from where you were standing in step 9). You should land in a left leg forward mountain climber stance, low block with left hand.
  13. Step forward with the right leg and punch with the right fist to the Solar Plexus
  14. Turn to your right 180 degrees. move your right hand and right leg to opposite direction into a low block. right leg forward and right fist blocking just aboveand outside the knee.
  15. Step forward with the left leg to a mountain climber stance and punch with the left fist to the Solar Plexus
  16. Pivot on your right foot moving to your left 90 degrees ( to bo back to where you started) to a left leg forward mountain climber stance and punch with the left fist to the Solar Plexus
  17. Step forward with your right leg and punch with your right fist to the Solar Plexus
  18. Step forward with your left leg and punch with your left fist to the Solar Plexus
  19. Step forward with your right hand and punch with your right fist to the Solar Plexus (Ki Hap!)
  20. Back leg turn around. Pivot on your right leg while lifting your left leg far enough to move your body 270 degrees (3/4) turn to your left. (You will be facing to your right 90 degrees from where you were standing in step 9). You should land in a fighting stance knife hand block
  21. Step forward with the right leg at a 45 degree angle into a fighting stance and the hands are at a knife hand block.
  22. Pivot to your right, picking up your right leg 145 degrees to a Fighting stance and Knife hand block.
  23. Step forward with the left leg at a 45 degree angle fighting stance, Knife hand block.
  24. Return to starting position. Pivot back on your right leg and bring your left leg back to a starting position Junbee
